they measure their catch like we do, if cod are getting too small they close of a few square miles of water (enough to replenish stocks in that area) then they go out catch a small amount and open the site once cod size has increased,

if they are too small then there are no 'minors', you have to give the COD time to get 'freaky' with one another (i like making science fun) Iceland have enough territorial waters to do this the EU on the other hand has like 100 times the terrestrial space and half the ocean. what we catch is measured and if its too small we throw it back, even though its dead already, WASTE! we cant close the water area as it wouldn't make a difference to EU waters as they are so small anyway, for us the only way forward in my eyes is a fishing industry bust, giving time for fish growth, replenishment and then a careful thought into future fishing in EU My System: Mine
