Yes, they are definately worth buying! I have had one for awhile now, and I am in love with it! Like most Nintendo products, the DS is fun for all ages. Now that they have a feature that certain games have online play, you can play people across the world, so your games never get boring. I hope that helps your decision to buy one!

yes get a DS they are awesome. and get a DS lite not a regular cuase they have a bigger and brighter screen. some good games are: Mario kart, NFS carbon, metroid,new super Mario bros. And bomberman is good if you have friends to play it with.

The DS rocks. I have quite a few games, Pokemon will take you about 100 hours to get bored of, the games are great. I have the original and would reccomend the Lite cos it's lighter and is better(but not so good that I would buy one just to replace my DS if it still worked). I also have the DS web browser which was awesome until Hotmail and my favourite proboards forum stopped working. The Lite's screen is the same size, but is brighter and has brightness controls. If the screens were bigger, they'd have to redesign the games. The only disadvantages of the Lite is that GBA games stick out the bottom and dig into your hand(though the side of the console does not hurt your hand like the DS original does) and the charger is different, so you can't use GBA SP chargers with it.

my girlfrieneds got one, she keeps screaming at mario, mind... so does her mum, their like kids lol..... ive had a go at the braintraining pretty good and the screens/graphics are surprisingly clear, good for spare time or on a flight etc, id say get one while xmas bargains are about, some guys above said not to get the lite, i dont think you can get the original anymore, maybe in cities where stocks are alot fuller, or on the net but i aint seen an original in a long time, on the lites come in deliverys in work, i doubt it'd make a difference to gaming anyway

yes, i can say that i am please i purchased one, they have some really nice games and the touch screen, dual display and backwards compatibility to play gba (game boy advance), some games i would recommend: Animal Crossing, Final Fantasy 3 (III), Nintendogs, Mario Kart, Mario 64 DS and Metriod Prime: Hunters
