Hi,

Anyone own this game? Because I'm having problems with it. Everytime I go to the safehouse to customize car etc, it freezes. I can sometimes buy some stuff, then when I try to change colour, it freezes. I've turned autosave off and on, and it doesn't fix it. Xbox is new, got it this Christmas, same with the game, so I don't think it's overheating. Other than that stopping me from playing, I think it's a pretty good game.

is the cd scratched? is the game the only thins that freezes?

No, the CD is new, and it isn't scratched. Yes it is the only game I have that freezes.

Check to see if there is a small faint ring around the outer of your cd, this accours when your Xbox is moved whilst the game is running, or if it falls over etc but sometimes this happens for no reason, i have a unreadable halo3 with a small ring around it which alot of websites and the games shop told me was the fault, unfixable ... check and post back.

I don't get it... There is a ring on all of my games, yet they all work fine except this one.

Not sure then mate, have you tried another console? or another copy of NFSC?

Might try another console then, some of my friends has a 360 too. Don't think any of them have Need for speed carbon though. I'll give it a try anyway, thanks.

Well it didn't work on my friend's 360, but he suggested saving it to the hard drive, and that worked. So yea, the game works fine now, and thanks for the help.
