I have to find out this from all of you. Do you believe you will miss the sexy gloss and chromed out Play station 3 logo on the top of the original PS3?

Or do you believe that the PS3 Slim is the only option that should be offered?

I actually love both my 60GB launch PS3s because they are basically the only fully loaded PS3s out in the environment. What do you think about no more of the fat and sexy PS3?

The new one is cheaper, faster and has all the same features bar backwards compatibility with PS2. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I suppose but from a marketing point of view, the slim version is cheaper to make and thus they make more profit (Or less loss than the original)

Off topic: GH4 sucks more than a hoover. The guitar tracks are 90% crap and the others are hellishly hard to whack out on medium for a guy who has 0 rhythm..

I hope GH5 is better..

On topic: I'm sure if every PS3 user screamed at Sony for hours and hours then they'd give in and get PS2 emulation or hardware back in the system. That may take a long petition though..

At first i was worried whether the slim would over heat or anything, but then i remembered its Sony, not Microsoft.. i haven't looked to much into the ps3 slim but does it still have free online gaming? as for GH, i have pretty good rythem ;) lol

Yeah, the PSN is completely free online, no paying for extra features. You can buy games, movies, content and a whole host of other tat for little cash, no daft points system to speak of.

As far as GH goes I have some rhythm but I have to know the song.. lol

Hopefully it wont have the YLOD like the fat PS3's out there. Still waiting at least until the end of the year or next year if i'm gonna get one. Let the people test it out first.

Apparently, the slim PS3 has faults, not sure on the strength of this rumour though.

As for games, MGS4, GT5, LittleBigPlanet, Killzone and the ability to install YellowDog Linux for use as a PC should sway your decision, it's also a shed load cheaper than a motorbike lol

To add to this, you can only install Linux on the 1st gen PS3's. For slims, its not possible anymore.
