my punk buster wont work, i cant play anygame that requires it
as i get kicked after about 3 mins of joining the server
with the message "Craiig punkbuster kicked player 'Craiig' (for 0 minutes)... RESTRICTION: service communication failure: PukBsterB.exe initialization failed."

also when i download pbsvc.exe i cant complete the installing

Searching for PnkBstrA None Found - OK
Extracting PnkBstrA service OK

then when u exit it a message..."WARNING: The service was *NOT* installed. Punk Buster will not operate correctly without this service

the reason it kicks you off the games is that PB isnt updated

tried that.. many of times
it kicks me becuase punkbusterB.exe isnt working it hink

1. Go to start than run
2, in run type services.msc
3. Scroll down and look for PnkBstr A and B
4. make sure they say started, if not right click it and allow it to start.You may also click on properties and tell it to run automatically.

Stumbled upon this page while I was using Google to try and solve this same PB problem.

I finally did get it done - here's how.

- I figured that pbsvc needs to use some type of certificates to validate securely with the pb servers. A while back, I had problems with my certs.

- I checked a certificate, and saw - DOH! - all of the MS root certificates are "invalid."

- http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555374 - This was my fix. PB works now. :)

- There's apparently a whole boatload of reasons this error may come up. This is just one possible fix of many. Good luck. (I hate PB. UGH. I always have problems with a new game thanks to PB. :( )
