Default problems with oblivon on xbox 360?

I'm having problems with my game taking forever to load. Whenever I attempt to search a body or an object the game freezes for at least 1 minute. It only freezes for a second or two when I talk to people, and it really doesn't freeze at all when i'm walking around. what's the problem? (this disk is brand new, and all of my other games work flawlessly)... also, can anyone tell me how to adjust the PAL settings for display?

Turn off your console. turn it back on and hold (a) on the pad until you see the bethesda sign, that clears loads of rubbish from the hard drive and should help a lot :)And the PAL thing, go to system then display then PAL
