[Frustrated]

I'm trying to hook up my PS3 to the internet. Right now, I have it directly plugged into a wireless router via Ethernet Cable. I've had to manually input the IP Address, etc., and the system is able to attain the IP Address during the tests. However, it always fails when it tests the internet connection, claiming that it "cannot resolve the name."I've heard that you need to first update your PS3... but obviously I can't do that because I can't connect to the internet with my PS3. I need the update so that I CAN connect. I've also tried hooking my PS3 up to my Labtop, which connects wirelessly to a router; it failed the "name" test as well. **As an added note, I have no way of directly hard-wiring the PS3 without the use of my wireless router.**Any suggestions? All help is greatly appreciated!

i think you should system restore your ps3 and then try again...thats all i can think of...or take it back to the store and bitch
