Not sure why that is happening but you could try installing it in safe mode maybe that will work!

tried safe mode still the same, i just been on you gamers to get a benchmark and its failing on the 7300GT graphics card. but the min spec is a 6800 or above so i confused with that.
I dont think its the disc as it reads ok when playing on my main computer.
Baffed then

You could try swapping the graphics cards in the computers and see if you can install it then, then swap it back when its installed!

Do a system restore to an earlier date. i have had this error numerous times. it has to do with your CD/DVD drive. its a real pain. I found no other solution that to do what i have said.

You could just try swapping the DVD drives?

its not the drive itself, its the OS. you need to fix the OS by undoing the settings you messed up (which in this case you wont know what you changed) i never asked, but is this error only when you try to install the game or is it with everything?
