I wasnt saying thow Vista in the trash can, I just meant that you would be better off getting an older computer and installing XP on it. But the compatibility mode is also a great option (i hadn't thought of that one as ive never used it) and its cheaper too (they have recently upped the price of XP 64-bit to around 500$ for absolutely no reason).
Have fun and does S.T.A.L.K.E.R. work on mac?
