I downloaded sims 2 from the ea website, and recently I started getting the following message titled "The game can not start", which says "In order to launch this game, please login to the EA link to verify your ownership, then try again".
I've been on the ea website and found out that this is because my account has been upgraded, so I signed in and I'm still getting the messages. Am I doing something wrong?

thought i would post how i solved it in case anyone else has the same problem
simple solution - re-download the download manager, that should do it!

na you can download ea games and pay for them

downside is you dont get a hard copy

its legal cheesewheels
