Default System good enough for playing GTR?

Hi there,

i'm actually planning to buy a steering wheel to play GTR .
A friend said i shouldn't spend less than 150 € (in Pounds?) and that the achilles heel were the pedals not the wheel itself...sounds like it made sense.

I'm also wondering if my systemwould need an upgrade.
One and a half years ago i bought my pc at the ALDI and the only thing that has been changed sofar is having put another Gb RAM to it...
I have a Gforce 6100 n Force 404, an Athlon (tm) 64x2 3800 +2 GHertz.
What would you recommend?
Anyone of you playing this?

£120 sounds a bit much for a steering wheel if your are going to play just 1 game with it. as for your computer what graphics card r u using? if its internal graphics GET A GRAPHICS CARD :), this game seems kind of old so a geforce 8400gs or 8600gt would do you well.

From the looks of it, according to the requirements Dave posted, it should be ok, the only problem might be with the graphics card if it is integrated, but you can get a fairly good card for around £50 which will be fine.
