| for the Wii and DS? I want to hook my Wii up to the internet but it is nowhere near a LAN line. So I am looking at the nintendo brand WiFi adapters. My nearest LAN point is one floor below the Wii though. Will the WiFi MAX penetrate through? Or am I better off using a cheap router? |

| I would say its probably around ten meters range. I have never actually checked and I also do not yet own and WiFi adaptor, so I cannot say the range for definate. |

| Because the WiFi Max is only a small dongle and draws power through USB, the range is going to be less than that of a dedicated router with antennas. I would suggest 15m give or take but place the unit as high as possible (it comes with, i believe, an extension cable so use that) to reduce any electrical interference. It'll also depend on the structure of your home, but this shouldn't have to negative an effect.
