From a hardware point of view, the PS3 is of course better. But you need to measure these consoles from the enjoyment gleaned from playing the games on them.

Frankly, it's too early to tell considering how long the PS3 has been out. Ask me again in a year or so.

I agree with the above statement! The games out at the moment for ps3 are roughly on a par (graphics wise) as the 360. Games develop massively over time, look at the difference between Gran Turismo 3 and Gran Turismo 4, or GTA III and GTA: San Andreas, both for PS2 but a huge difference. This means the PS3 has a looong way to go before it's reached it's peak performance. I have over 70 games for my Ps2 and would never get rid of it! Cant afford a PS3 for a while, spent all my money on a PC!!


Hang on... Skaterboy... What's the question?? You seem to have left the post and dissapeared!! Are you asking 'What is better, PS2 or PS3' Or are you asking what the best GAMES are for ps2+3???? I'ts because you say only games between 05-07 which makes me believe we've all got the wrong end of the sick!!

I agree that Grand Theft Auto was the best games for the PS2, there wasn't many people who didn't have a copy of one of the games.

I agree. GTA was a great series, have played them all from the beginning. There are some others, such as Socom that I love to play online.
