...consoles and not on pc ? Why do some games only get release on games consoles and not on pc ? Shurley wouldn't it make sense to release more games on pc as well to make more money ?In response to JAMES M:Some games are made for many different games consoles. An example of this is Medal of honour vangaurd. It is being released for ps2 and wii. In certain cases the console manufacturers get games manufactured specifically for their own machine to try to promote sales of their own hardware. In the early days the very popular Mario games were an example. Another problem is the actual coding of games for different consoles and the PC is totally different. Porting a particular game across to a different platform is not always going to be practical. I have seen games that were awesome on PC and awful on a console, obviously the same applies in reverse.

basically what james m sed plus games consoles were made to play games where as a pc also does other things, basically the manafactuers are trying to make sure the computer doesnt get wiped out and become just another console
