I thought the Wii costs $250, but when I searched online, the lowest I could find was $375!!?? When and why did it get so expensive, and when will it be reasonably priced?

The wii is the cheapest next generation console out there. If you go to a store itll be 250 if you can find one but people selling them online will be jacking up there prices.

The Wii has to be one of the cheapest consoles ever released, look at the PS3 its raving expensive compared to the Wii.

Lol, the Nintendo Wii is well to cheap compared to the other two. Its around £180 here, so double that and thats the price what it should be in dollers. Where did you find your pricing from anyway, online, or in a store? Please don't say Ebay.

I would say the biggest reason the Wii is so expensive is because everyone wants one, and some will pay that much or more for one. So, if they have very few out, and you want to get one, you'll pay what they cost.

I would never buy one off eaby all togeather, they are always fake or something. Also I agree they are probably scams when consoles fisrt are released. I would buy GBA and DS games from ebay though.

Yeah, its the high price technology you have to watch, ipods, TVs, mobiles, consoles etc.

Games are fine, just gotta watch the PC stuff as a lot is fake, console games not so much.

You can tell when you see scams now anyway, and when using PayPal you can claim your money back. Thats a good thing about using PayPal.

i work for wooloworths, being a student its good petrol money lol, and found out yesterday the whole shortage of wii's is fake! my regional boss told me, woolworths, argos, game etc etc all have stock piles of wii's but only sell them when they want to cause panick buying. prices have gone up because of the bundle as mentioned. some companies will claim they can only get hold of 'bundle wii's' when really its just made up for panick buyers to be urged to spend more.

i guess some of you already suspected this but i was shocked, especially comming frm my regional manager, that companys, even today, will bleed people of their money

Lol, wii expensive? you have to be joking meee, im sure its like one of (as said) the cheapest next gen console out there, were ever you found this, the people are charging too hight, unless its different were you live, being as you are using dollers, but over here in england, its only like £180-£200, sometimes even bundles go to that price which would include like 2-3 games, depends were you look.

I know lots of people who are trying to get a Wii in time for Christmas but there just arnt any out there so people are selling at a rised price. Places like Amazon seem to get them in for a few minutes before there all sold again.

Saw it for sale on Amazon one day at nearly £1000! Its the same thing as with the remotes etc there hardly any of them around. Wii play is selling for £50 where its normally around £35
