| Does any body know how to connect my son's wii to the internet? I bought this wifi thing that is suppose to work, but it dosent. I don't think I am getting a signal or something right. |

| I have mine connected through a wireless router. I'm using a Linksys WRT-54G, but there are a few models out there to choose from. I'm also using a cable modem to connect to the internet. You can use DSL if you have it. It suppose it's possible to use dial-up, but I haven't tried it.Your setup should look like this:*Internet*--Cable/DSL Modem -- Wireless Router -- ComputerThe wireless router will talk with the Wii and your computer will not have to be in use. You don't even have to turn it on.Remember to secure your wireless connection once you get it it up. If not, you'll have the squatters using up your bandwidth... or worse. |
