in this round of next gen consoles i think nintendo won. xbox 360 and ps3 just cared about being able to see the hairs on a character's head clearly. nintendo, on the other hand, focused on a new way to play video games, not about hi-def gaming. its all about having the most fun while playing

well it depends. the wii is AWESOMELY fun...but it wont be fun forever whereas i can see myself have halo tournies on an xbox 360 in 3 or 4 or 5 yearsas for the ps3, its pretty damn tight and would probably stand up to xbox in the test of time but its really really expensive.

The Wii definitely is the most interesting of the 3 doing something really totally new in this space. That's what makes it something I want very badly.The XBox 360 is extremely slick, mostly because there are some fantastic games coming out (and already out) for it. Also, it can be used as a Media Center extender and will support IPTV in some form (similar to Apple's new Apple TV).The PS3... who cares. The only thing it has to offer besides overheating and shutting down is the Blueray DVD.

Now, if you wanna have a blast (preferably with others) moving around and looking like an idiot, in a good way, then buy a Wii. If you wanna have fun in the game, and u wanna be tuned in to the game, then buy an xbox 360. Ur last resort should be a PS3. I would get a Wii first, then xbox 360, and forget ps3.

if u invite friends over to play get a wii if u know friends then get a 360. ps3's are overpriced, personally the wii sucks cos no detail or games like halo or gears of war the 360 rules.
