when im playing a game, it would work but then like 5 mins later my screen goes black and 2 red lights appear on the xbox 360 power button lol

It could mean it's overheating or something then. Have you tried looking in your manual to see if that says what it means?

Nope lol, i typed my problem into google and it said its a overheating problem so ill let it cool down for abot and buy a fan.

Is it possible to open it up without voiding the warranty? if it is, you might want to try that and clear the dust out of it.

It's overheating. Let it sit for a few hours and try using it again in an area that can circulate air fairly well, an open space preferably. If it still happens, contact MS.
