i don't have any gaming consoles and i have never bought one.........but i want to buy a new console and basically have FUN with GREAT GRAPHICS and some of the best games....................i just wanted to know if i should buy the $129 PS2 or the Xbox 360 which is 399$.???? i have money but dont wanna spend so much amount for just a gaming console......but i surely look the quality of the gaming console.......would the PS2 games will not be available after some months due to the introduction of modern game consoles in the market???and will the PS2 would get "outdated" soon??????please write your opinion.............please give me some good descriptive answers......

The PS2 basically is outdated now that God of War 2 is out, don't think they are really going to do a lot more games. Get a Xbox360 if you want a system that will be putting out new games for years. Buy a PS2 if you want the better library of games out already. The PS2 has a HUGE library of games and almost all types. It has great games. Like I said though if you want the new games to keep coming out then buy a 360.

Basically nowadays, people are confused whether to choose between the pricey, super-amazing PS3, the solid PS2, the wacky Wii, or the medium XBOX.Well, your first criteria is FUN, all of them pass the test immediately. Although there are some differences on how much they pass the test. Wii and Future PS3 (when lots of games have comes out) is the first, followed by PS2, followed by XBox.Great Graphic: PS2 is old, but there are many good graphic games on PS2. PS3 is superb in graphics, but the dollars is unacceptable. XBOX 360 is a good middleman but it lacks the number of games, lacking much in the Fun part. Wii is lacking in graphic power, but it should outstand most other console on the Fun part.Not Expensive: We'll kick out PS3 out of the battle. Wii is the absolute winner in the price battle.PS2 mightn't get outdated soon enough, my prediction, it would stand for another 2 years. Ok so the PS2 has better than average graphics depending on the game and most of the games are fun and good quality. Also it does have the online capability just like the 360 but the ps2 online is free. The ps2 is reliable and i have never had a problem with mine. The 360 has great graphics obviously and it also has good games. But it is pricey and if you want to play online then it costs 50 dollars a year. I guess the ps2 will become outdated and obviously they wont be making many more games for it but the games will be available for a long time to come in game stores so i wouldnt worry about not being able to purchase a game. Overall i would prolly go with the ps2 if you want fun and a cheaper buy. But if you are completely willing to spend the 400+ dollars for the 360 and you want the better graphics. The gaming isnt much better. Hope this helped.
