Default 300W enough power?

Is there any reason why my 300W FSB (Fortron) Zen300 PSU (FSP300-60GNF)
see http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/stress...w-1362-17.html and table below..
would have a problem powering my new set up : Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 with Foxconn P35AX-S motherboard???
Reason I ask, is that I put it all together and the power keeps cutting out..

Yes, 300W is not enough. 500W is pretty much the min for anything serious.

EDIT: I am stupid and wrong and didn't read your post thoroughly. What graphics card are you running?

You can prove that it is the Power Supply by unplugging the graphics card. If it works then, you know that the power supply isn't big enough.

I agree witht the above poster, get a 500 watt. I doub't the current one can handle the loads for long and as you say it cuts out after a while..
