Reet, well after considering the components to go in my new build, and partially decided on the new desk it will go on, I've decided the case I currently have is way too much for what I need, and i'm not exactly keen on the way it looks for it to be sat in my view 24/7.

The case is a Coolermaster stacker 832, and after much research and about £80-£90 to spend I decided to getting the Gigabyte 3D Aurora 570, which is similar to the one in Cewy's build, but I believe it to be a slightly different varient.

However, it comes in two colours ... ten times out of ten I would choose black over silver, but this time i'm debating whether or not to get the silver one, it's to be placed on a glass desk, in full view.



I need a case that can house up to 5 / 6 hard drives, has tool-free access to it's optical drives, can accomodate an 8800GTS, has it's power supply at the uppermost corner and is generally pleasing to the eye.

If anyone has any other suggestions for under £100, feel free to post 'em Otherwise, help me in choosing which colour to get

That's what I thought as soon as I saw them side by side.

I'm tempted to go silver, what colour cathodes would you recommend to go with it?

If I were to go black i'd either stick red or green in there, but silvers a tricky choice, I was thinking purple, as I've seen a silver CM830 with a purple glow, and it looked awesome.

I dunno, I'm sorta liking the cyan they have in that picture. If the lighting already comes with it, I'd just keep it, maybe stick some UV cathodes and get some UV cabling.

Purple wouldn't be bad though.

black i have the aurora but i have the cheaper one without the front bulk there brilliant

Yeah, wasn't which one you had, I had a feeling it the was basic one.

I'm tempted towards the black one now, simply because the motherboard i'm looking at getting is black and red, so I think that would fit in well in the black case with an evil looking red glow from inside. I would have to adopt the front LEDs though, change them from blue to red else it'd look odd.
