ive read that and im going to do exactly what the website said but i dont know what to do with the side panel fans blow air in or out

Normally this would blow in. Having said that, it depends what else you put in and where.

You may find the side fan will work against the general airflow (bottom front - top back).
The best thing is to try it both with and without and check the temps.

If your fans are all 12v, then the two white connectors will only be delivering 5v to them, hence they will be slower.
Don't forget it can also be a way of controlling fan speeds.
