Does anyone know if these psu are any good?
just had a cal from a m8 who wants to to use one of these psu and a quick search does not reveal any good reviews just on line shoppers who say there ok, he`s using a a E8500 with a 9800gt and 4gb ram and two 2x1tb hard drives thanks

Obviously Carbon's the one to ask, but just my input - never head of them, so they're probably awful.

Having said that people probably wouldn't have ever heard of Corsair (for PSU's) all that long ago, and they're brilliant. My System: FordyPC

They are cheap one`s m8 told him to get a corsair or antec, maybe even one from pc world( at least he can take it right back if it goes wrong or blows his pc) but he is is on a budget of £40
