Sounds like your PSU is fried. Don't make the mistake of buying one from the e-machines as all comp manufacturers are so over priced on OEM replacements. And dont listen to farrari as I am sure he has never even had one. I have two, one that has been running for 8 years now, and the one I am on now that has been up and running for two years now. Open your case and get the PSU model # and call around or visit:www.tigerdirect.com

Try fitting a new PSU, they are very cheap so it would be worth trying that before looking further into it.
