| try to use a oil based coolant so if you get any leaks it will not damage components i use it all the time and it has saved my pc more times than i can remember :-)

| Ok I think theres some confusion here.. well I'm confused anyway! ![]() The radiator only blows the hot air out one side, the blowing comes from the fan so this air comes out of the fan side correct? So if that's the case then it's not a problem at all. I'm goin to mod my side panel, put a window in it and that sort of thing, I was planning on putting a lit fan on the side too, I don't need the extra cooling it was just a gimmick, so it might as well be doing something, and I could put my radiator there. Support might be an issue but I'd get round it somehow. One last thought though, would it be at all possible to have the radiator on the base, blowing up into the case (no darn big holes) and then a fan in the side panel directly above it that whooshes all that hot air out? This'd just make it easier really.. but does the radiator absolutly HAVE to blow straight outside of the case? I mean, I've never done it so are we talking ridiculously hot air that has to get out straight away, not get passed onto a different fan and THEN out? Thanks for the help, Ollie.

I guessed it would be because it says non-conductive, but you never know with the wonders of technology.

| Normally the radiator would blow the hot air straight out of the case. However, your idea may work but you will have to stand the radiator of the bottom of the case considerably so as to get airflow underneath it to be sucked up by the fans, then a lot of fans on top to suck the air out again.

| Hmm.. I can tell this is going to be a tedious job... As for using the redundant air filter, no, basically! I measured it up a couple of weeks ago - won't fit any radiator, it's not even big enough width for a 80mm fan.. (I thought about putting an extra case fan there) Oooh! Sudden idea!! The PSU rails go all the way across the top of the case, with a hole in the inner facing side (a sort of C shape) So I could get some perspex and slot it in there, then cut a hole in it for air to be sucked up through and mount the radiator on top. Then cut a circular hole on the very top panel of the case and stick a mesh on it and another fan. That should work yeah?? Cheers for the help guys, Ollie.

| Ok I've hit a problem. Me being stupid I thought that the drive bay the reservoir would fit into was the HDD bay, then I realised it said 5.25"... problem is I havn't got any left! I've got a DVD-RW, HD/BD-RW, and 3.5" converter bracket. Case only has 3 5.25s and 2 3.5s.. Do HDD bay reservoir and pump combis exist? If so do you know of a good cheapish one? If not I'll have to get an EK res and find somewhere to clip it...

| I think you are going to have to mount the radiator externally either drilling a hole and using a rubber grommet as explained earlier, or using a pre drilled hole in your case. My antec900 has a pre drilled hole lol, want me to send it to you? (The hole not the case, ) |
