Hi all! I am in a little over my head I think. I have never built a pc before normally I just get the ready made variety.

I have the motherboard in and the PSU is in and I put the DVR's and HDD in. And there are all those wires....

The f pannel on my GA-EP45-UD3L has me unstuck. The instructions tell you to note the + and - on the connections. So I did that but on the plugs that are meant to go into the connections I can't see what is meant to be what. The only markings I can see are a capital G on one side and a downwards facing triangle on the other. A friend of mine tells me it doesn't matter what way they go in, it will complete the circuit either way.

Is this correct?

G = Ground, AKA negative.

Never seen triangle before so it must be positive I guess!

Your friend could be right or wrong, depending on the PSU's internal circuitry.
