All the bad talk about the cases have put me off. Should I really get a case or is their a component in my sig that needs upgrading; what do you guys think? I do not game as much as I once did so I think the current GPU I have should hold.

Sorry for hijacking my own thread even though you guys have already done that .

But if I am to get the case the competiton is boiled down to Antec P182 and the Coolermaster HAF RC-932.

My first choices for upgrade would be Case, CPU (or just OC providing you got better than stock cooling) and cooling.

Yeah sorry about the haf-hijack only half - we were still on cases.

Out of those two cases I'd go P182, so would Carbon if you look at his sig

But again it's personal choice.

I wouldn't really put any money into it now, wait for something better, it's all in the 'a little old but not worth upgrading' stage. Could get some nice headphones/speakers and a sound card or something.

To be honest you're originaly choice of upgrading the case was the best (not that the case really matters too much, if like you say it doesn't generate much heat)

But I'd prefer a nice cushy case instead of your "under-the-bed" arrangement!

i, personally would go for the P182. i love the understated look of it. and i depise the 'gamer look' of LED fans and mesh everywhere. i fail to see how a few bits of twisted metal with mesh glued all over it and a few crappy LED fans is worth over $300

having said that, i wont get a P182 either as it is over $230 in Aust. its much better value than a gamer case bu i wont ever spend that on a case.

for my new build im using a beige P3 era case that i found in the hard waste with a few extra holes drilled in it, not the prettiest thing in the world but it does the job.

sorry to hijack the thread again :P
