Hi, I am in the process of getting a HP D530C desktop pc. It is about 3-4 yrs old, and only has onboard video. I want to put in a VGA card, but my power supply is a 240w unit. The computer is a atx. Can I upgrade to a bigger unit? If so how big shoulld I go? Thank you all, ResidentevilI

Hello, ResidentevilI, it's always good to meet a new member. What graphics card you can put in your PC depends on your motherboard. If you have a PCI-e x16 slot, you can put any number of cards in there. There are also a few good ones for AGP and some ok ones for PCI. You will need to upgrade your PSU, though, as a 240W is not going to be able to handle anything very well at all. Download Everest Home and find out what graphics interface you have, and post back here, then I can suggest some cards and PSU's for you.

Hi ![]() My interface is a AGP 8x. CPU is Intell P4 2.66g with 1g of memory. Would a 350w p/s be enough for a AGP card? Thank you very much ResidentevilI
