Default Pc cases/PSU

Well im going to build my own PC and ive been looking at cases to start me off. Ive noticed some have a 400W PSU, others have 450 or 500 etc. Will this make much diffrence? Will i have to buy a motherboard to suit the PSU?

Cheers

If you are going to build it yourself I suggest you scrap the PSU that comes with the case, in most cases the PSU the comes with a case is usually of rubbish quality

A PSU can take a whole comp with it if it fails so you will want a good quality one

Enermax. Enermax. Enermax. Enermax. Did I mention Enermax?

If you're going to get a P5K (nice choice by the way) it deserves a good psu.

Social is absolutely correct with regards to the (usually crappy) generic psu's that come with cases.

A good, stable, efficient psu is the single most important component in a pc build, but it's usually overlooked because it's not one of the 'sexy' items.

For a 400w psu get an Enermax Liberty. For a 500w psu, get an Enermax Liberty. For a 600w, yup, get a Liberty. For a 700w Get an Enermax Infiniti. Anything over that? Get an Enermax Galaxy.
