Here is a strange one for someone to try solve.

I have a tower PC which has lights in front of the case. Well recently the lights do not come on any more. Plus when I turn on the Power switch on front of the case. The case tower lights flickers and the PC does not come on straight away. Then I press the power button again a few times and the PC then boots up with no problems.

After months of trying to turn the computer on, where it starts up after one minute wait. I decided to get a new power supply. The old power supply was 400 Watt, the new one 500 watt.

I installed the new power supply and guess what?!? It still does the same thing. I thought I broke the motherboard and then tried the old power supply and it started up, but with the same symptoms.

Any one know what I should do? Should I perhaps change the case? I at first thought I messed up the LED settings, but then it would not turn on at all if I did this.

Someone help!!

Might be that the switch on the case is dodgy?
