Default Possible Overheating?????

heyy,

just a quick question im wondering about.
im just upgrading a friends pc, his case is a full size atm case, but its only got 1 8cm intake fan at the front, and the fan built into the PSU at the back. will this be enough cooling for a 1.8 P4?? or will it overheat after a few hours usage?

cheers, MCTW

Should be OK, only way is to test it and find out.

Worst comes to the worst, you can stick a £5 fan as another out take on the back.

it should be ok, I used to use a 3GHz P4 in a case that only had the PSU fan, and a grate at the back and that was it, and even though it was getting a little warm, it was still safe. and as it's a 1.4Ghz P4 it should be fine as it will run alot cooler.
