Default Power LED for Case

Hey guys, bit of a weird one. My computer has a blue power LED and in the modifying of my case with the worlds worst spray paint, I decided the power LED would look better as an ultra bright red LED. For the life of me, I can't find a high street store that sells the fiddly little bleeders! I've found places selling LED's and cables but I cant find the connectors to a motherboard or a complete piece.. Any help on where I could get one of these things would be very much appreciated! I've tried Maplins, PC World, Currys, Comet and a few high street shops near me.

Thanks again,
Razer.

It might be easier to just by the LED and do a straight swap between them.

Maplin or CPC will sell you one for sure.

EDIT: Or here, this actually attaches to a Molex rather than the PW connector. But of course the Molex will only get power when you turn the PC on so I see no reason why you can't use this

Cheers, I'll have a look into something similar in UK! =)

So if I had some solder, a soldering iron and and LED, it would be easy enough to whack a red LED on the end of an existing power LED? Taking off the old LED of course. I'm pretty competent with a soldering iron so shouldn't be much of an issue. The solder might be though, I'll look into it!

Thanks mate

Ah sorry, I'm in UK as well, I didn't see the dollar price tag

somewhere like overclockers or watercoolinguk will probably sell it.

Or Maplin for just the LED, and yeah just get the correct voltage and you should be fine
