My current system has the Asus M3A78-EM Motherboard and an AMD Phenom tripple core 8650 processor. The power supply is a cheap 480w. which can be bought for $30.00 or less from New Egg. one of the reviews there on the same brand just, a little larger smoked, and actually flamed! that had me very concerned so, I ordered a new Corsair brand. will this be a decent supply for just browsing the net. burning dvds. and cds? also, would it be enuff oomph for maybe adding a better graphics card later on? no, high speed gaming use. Thanks!

It's more than enough for even a super high-end graphics card. Good call replacing the old one. The new one is a little overkill but will save you on power (lower load) and will be reliable enough to use down the line.
