| I've decided to get a new video card (8600gts) but I need a new psu as well. Usually this is a pretty simple task...but since I'm dumb and went with dell (Dimension E521) finding a psu that will work is a little harder than usual. After looking around, even psus that are made for Dells, are ATX, and the E521's have BTX mobos (Right? The mobo i son the left side so its a btx ....right?) After searching around a little more, I think I've found something that'll work for ATX and BTX mobos, and its this. Can somebody please verify if this will work or not? Thanks. |

| its supposed to say "Right? The mobo is on the left side, so that makes it a btx...right?" but there were a few typos...and it won't let me edit it so I just made a new post. |

| Ring Dell if you want the genuine item.

Alternatively a generic PSU will fit but will require some case metal modification. You could also get a new generic case, now is as good a time as any to transfer to generic spec to avoid this in the future. My System: Hybr!d
