| hi, im getting this motherboard XFX N680i SLi Socket LGA775 when i look at a picture of it though it has an extra power conector, normal i know but this one is 8 pin not 4, please can someone tell me a psu that will fit it thanks |

| The majority of psu's (500w and over) will have 2 4-pin 12v connectors Marsay. The board can run with only one 4-pin installed but as this socket is for your cpu the extra 4-pin socket is there for extra power to be used for stability should you overclock.

my m8 had same prob awhile back, the 8pin is the "EPS12v" rail and you can use the 4 pin instead but its not recommended, he ended up getting a new psu from dabs a HX620W cost about £85 i think but if u look at any new psu and it has EPS12v in its title it will fit My System: redden137
