Default PSU issue

Good afternoon,

I upgraded my PC with a new CPU, Memory and Graphics Card. My new graphics card recommends 450watt power supply for it to operate correctly. I am currently using a 315watt and often the PC monitor will not power up on the first go... Im hoping due to the power supply. My PSU as 2 clips which hold it to the roof of the case and 4 screws which go in the back to hold it on the case. I am buying a 600watt PSU and just wondering will this solve my issue? Will the PSU hold up with 4 screws and is that the normal way a PSU is held? Also am I at risk of damaging anything with 600watt power? My gf card is a Radeon x1650pro, CPU AMD 3200+ Athlon, 2,048GB ram.... Thank you.

Default PSU issue

It is my belief that most power supplies generally have the 4 screws in the back, this is how mine is attached to my case (was brought like it) so don't worry, you will not damage your new power supply attaching it to your case this was

Default PSU issue

Yes that should fix your issue, and yes PSUs are held in with only 4 screws on the top rear of a PC case.
