As discussed in this thread, I need a new PSU for that computer (Acer Aspire M1100-E1401B) which currently has a LiteOn PS-5251-7 250W ATX PSU.

I am adding a Sapphire Radeon X1600 XT to get rid of that internal which can't be too great... I just hate shared RAM.

So I'm just wondering what sort of power supply I should be buying for it? Many thanks for the help.

Looks like standard ATX, I'd shove a Seasonic ES/ET unit in there if you can find it cheap in the UK.

Before anyone links to stores or such, this will be bought in Germany.

Can't find any ES units at the moment, only ET ones:
SS-350ET (45 Euros) and SS-400ET (50 Euros) which both seem decent priced to me, but will at least to my mother, seem through the roof. It says theat the 350ET does not have a PCI-E connector, so I guess I have to go 400ET or is that just info missing from the site I was looking at since I see no reason for it not to have one.

Most graphics cards will come with molex-PCI-E converters.

What about these two, the S12II-330 and 380 model? Any good? They're in the same price range as the SS-350ET and SS-400ET.

But more importantly, are there any cheaper PSUs? My mum relaly doesn't want to spend 40 to 50 Euros on one. If there are cheaper ones that can perform similarly well, that would be great... But too much of an ideal scenario, eh?

Seasonic is usually the cheapest you can go. You might get away with an Antec Basiq but I wouldn't trust it to hold up anything with a graphics card.
