Hey guys. Im new here and I suck at computers. I can do a little but I know not nearly as much as any of you.

I have a Compaq Deskpro http://www.pcarenahungary.com/pricel...skpro-en-4.jpg I have about 30 of these. Dont ask. Anyway...

I want to use this case for a computer build. I am going to be running a Blue-Ray drive where the CD drive is now. I will be getting a Dual core processor. I am trying to avoid having to buy a video card. I need a mother board with an HD chip set that fits this case. Anyone have any idea what I should be looking for?

I was thinking of buying a new case. But I thought if I can save 100 dollars on buying a new case, I can spend 50 more on my motherboard and cpu

Thanks in advance!

I seriously doubt that's a standard. Best bet is to measure existing motherboard/case size and see if it matches mATX.

e: also cases cost about $50 now

Not the one I want. If I am going to buy a case, I am going to get the one I want/with best cost to want ratio. I will be spending about 100 dollars.

This seems to be almost everything I want in a case.

Poor PSU though, you're looking at another $50 or so on top of that.

I am going to need a power supply regardless. I am building a new computer from scratch. I have harddrives. Thats it.

As I think more about this, I dont think this is the build I want. Getting a PSU small enough that will fit the case is going to be a pain and more expensive than I want. Ill just buy a new case.

Thanks for your reply's!

What I meant was that case came with a PSU. but it's pretty shoddy quality. And probably a good call on the case: really, it's unlikely they fit mATX spec and it would be a pain to get it working.

The computer when it came out, was probably pretty good. But its a real piece of crap now. I think it was just a dream to use that case. Im buying a new one this weekend probably.

Probably you're best decision. But for future reference I'm pretty sure there's no motherboard with on-board (HD) graphics... especially not a mATX.
