Default Unofficial Power supply rankings

If your like me, you don't know much about power supplys. And your not really sure which ones are good or were to start looking. Well this list will give you the best to the ones you don't want to buy.

================================================== =============================

Tier 1 can handle 4Ghz Conroe or 3Ghz AMD along with Oced Quad Crossfire/SLI With Ease.

Tier T offers the high quality components of Tier 2 with slightly less Rail stability due to Topower internals.
Tier 3 is ONLY Recommended if Price difference is present between Tier 3 and Tier 2 or due to availability issues with Tier 1/2 PSUs.
Tier 4 is recommended for stock or low power systems if Tier 3's are more expensive or are not available.

Seen the list before, probably on the link you've gave me, it's a really helpful list too, pretty accurate.

I ended up going for the Silverstone DA750W a few months ago.

I really don't know anything about the xpower PSUs, so if somebody does tell me and I can add it to the list where it fits. Technically I didn't forget to add it since I didn't write the list but I know what you mean cheeswheels99.
If anybody else knows of a good PSU that should be added to the list again let me know I will add it.

My Aerocool is awesome. I would not put it in Tier 4 :)

I will move it to Tier 3. You think that is the right spot for it.
I guess you can't edit earlier posts. I suppose a mod or someone will have to that for me.

Yeah, 3's good. A PowerStream 750W I bought blew a capacitor, so I bought one of the zeroDBAs, and I have a nice rig with very little sound. It has good rails, is nearly silent, and it's modular.
