if you havent ordered the pc yet i would advise against the phenom because every benchmark i have seen proves that it is rubbish, instead go for a intel core 2 quad q6600 which is alot more powerfull, cheaper and has alot more overclocking headroom.

going to your questions, any psu above 500watts will power your computer easily and will allow further expansion but dont go for a cheapy as a cheap one will destroy your computer in no time (£40 or more is a good price). as for cooling a stock am2 cooler will do but if you want to overclock or reduce noise go for something a bit higher like the blue orb mini, but as long as its compatible with am2 it will do fine. heres a list of some http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/sear...tle=am2+cooler

There's only one AM2 cooler to consider.

The Scythe Infinity.
