atm ive got a Tagan TG530-U22 and i want it to be able to power a intel i7 and a 4850 i think it will be more than able to what you guys think

Well. It all depends on what Motherboard you get, and how many harddrives you use, as well as many other factors. If you stick with the basics and don't go to extreme with harddrives and gpu, then you should be fine. However, if your looking to build a real powerful gaming computer, id get a 750Watt PSU, maybe even a 1000watt.

wattage doesn't matter

Take that $600 you're going to spend on a useless CPU and spend it on your GPU and a new Corsair 650.
