i have a brother mfc 420cn printer. my problem is that it will not do anything. it shows "unable to change - see troubleshoot in user manual" . i have found it and did what it says but to no avail. i do not use the fax part of the ...

Brother MFC 420CN Printer Error Message
i have a brother mfc 420cn printer. my problem is that it will not do anything. it shows "unable to change - see troubleshoot in user manual" . i have found it and did what it says but to no avail. i do not use the fax part of the machine. when i first got the machine i had windows xp now i have vista. i went online and downloaded the one for vista and it worked fine for a few minutes. (printed out about 6 pages) then it showed this and i can not get out. i have turned it off and then back on but nothing. PLEASE HELP ME.
