Default Canon Printers

Hi Everyone

I am considering buying a new printer and had nearly decided upon a Canon but now see that you either have to buy the genuine Canon cartridges or fiddle about with the chips ? Has anyone got experience of this. I am looking for a good printer , up to say £100 ( I already have a v good scanner ) for everyday use and printing a few photos.

My space is a bit limited and they all look to be so big- are there any good ones about that dont fill the whole desk??

Any info/advice would be appreciated.

many thanks

Anne

Default Canon Printers

I have the canon MP170 and it requires Canon cartridges,i just get them refilled though, sometimes it works sometimes not(last time black worked but colour did not)either way the thing that monitors how much ink you have left in the cartridges does not work with refilled cartridges.
