Hi everyone, newbie here.
I hope you can help.
I recently bought a Epson Stylus SX600 FW all in one printer. I connected it to my HP Compaq nc4400 notebook and all appeared to go well EXCEPT it won't print. The printer & network are recognised however the prints don't come off!
I then connected my Dell laptop which went without a hitch. This leads me to suspect the issue is between the printer & HP as opposed to the actual wireless network itself.
In a desperate attempt to resolve the issue I've spend 2 days on line and on the phone to Epson and HP helplines. Both of which blamed the other for the issue and were unable to help.
My question in short is does anyone know how I can resolve the issue and get the wireless printer set up on my HP or should I just take it back & go for an HP printer??
Any/all advice very very welcome!!

It sounds to me for whatever reason the printer was not installed correctly.

Is the printer USB or uses the parallel port?

If it is USB, you are supposed to install software first and then connect the printer to the computer. This is not as important if you are using the parallel port.

Either way, I would uninstall the printer and then reinstall it.

To do this, go to printers and faxes on the questionable computer. If the printer is there, delete that printer. It will ask you if you are sure, and click yes. Then go to add printer. Follow this wizard, and once it is finished, you should be able to print.
