[Gazmondo]

Hiya, i'm looking to get a digital camera for my sister for chrimbo, around the £100 mark, which includes video capture aswell.

I'm hoping to get at least 7MP with minimum of 3x optical zoom, and have found the Sony Cybershot W55 for £99.99

I'm not too familiar with the ins and outs of digital cameras but I know enough to make a decision, though it's finding a handfull of half-decent ones for my budget to select from.

Any help would be appreciated,

Yeah the Sony should be fine, cybershots are usually really good so you should be alright with that, Bear in mind however that if you'd be prepared to get one with a lower megapixel count you could get one with a higher quality lens for the same money. You would have to check up on that though.

Hmm yea I was wondering on that but I wouldn't really want to go below 7MP.

I could stretch my budget more than intended and get this one, as reviews say it is a v.good compact camera,
