| Install the software correctly. Know where the scanned files will be stored in. In most cases, just press the button on the scanner and it'll scan. |

| Once it's on, it should be found in "My Computer". (Make sure you installed the software/driver that came with the scanner.) |

| It is possible, If you installed the driver but not an actual scanning software program, try the following:Go into Control panel, select camera and scanners, it will then walk you through scanning what ever you have in the scanner. Good luck. |
