I can't seem to get the xerox working with my new Medion windows Vista PC?

Can anyone tell me if this can be done and how to or is it not compatible.

I'm having problems with mine too. The link mentioned gives no help that I can see - am I missing something? I'm trying to find a driver for the 2400 that works with Windows Vista.

I think it's a Vista problem, and you should contact Microsoft. That's exactly the reason I wouldn't get a Vista now. There are too many incompatabilities with software that's already out. I won't get one until all the kinks are worked out.

Do you have sutomatic updates enabled on Vista. Sometimes the new updates help with drivers.

Thanks for suggestions. New laptop came with Vista and I didn't realise. Wouldn't have chosen it.

When I got vista I had to replace my Epson printer, along with lots of other bits.

If the manufacturer doesn't support vista there isn't much you can do.

That's terrible having to replace so many components just because of a new OS. How long do you think it'll be before the other companies will catch up with Vista and be compatible?

Hi Blue

Welcome to TCF

I think that Lynda will have a look at that when she returns.

P.S I know you probably did it by accident but please don't double post.
