HP AIO 4280 USB Extension Cable Problem
Hi I have an HP F4280 AIO printer and for various reasons, the cable is a few meters short to reach my computer; I tried to solve the problem by buying a usb extension cable from a retailer near my place. After going home, I've found out that it doesn't work; After some research, I've found out that this is a passive one not an active one. It worked with my cellphones and not with my Printer/USB flash drive. Is there anyway I can get this to work on the printer? By the way, an active USB extension cable is not available here so it isn't an option.

Why not source one on ebay.com, from a supplier who offers International shipping.

Just buy a longer standard A- B USB lead. They're cheap.
