 HP OfficeJet K60 Paper Jam

The little fingers that come up and push the paper all the way out after printing is done, come out too early before the paper is all the way out and jam the paper. Does anyone know why it does this and how I can fix it?...

sounds like the printer has had it, mabey its time to get a new one.
