hp webcam
hi i have an hp pavilion 6700 with vista os there is a webcam prebuilt not working, device manager shows it with yellow mark,and says the driver is not installed i tried to install the driver and i got :windows encounter a problem installing the driver anyone has idea about this problem? thanks |

I have a Hp Pav 9000, and i had a similar problem, when my webcam didnt work, i reset my laptop and it worked, but next day, it wouldn' work again, so ill have to keep restarting it

what was the problem that it encountered?

i had this problem too,this depends of what vista you have ,y webcam worked only with vista home premium

system restore tntil the last time it work, have u added any new hardware that may conflict?
or always can return to factory state nd reinstall win i would inquire on hp forums search for threads with the same prob as you |
